Nurse delegation is a Washington State law that allows a registered nurse (RN) to delegate a nursing task to a qualified nursing assistant in good standing. This means the RN transfers the performance of nursing tasks to competent individuals in specific situations. This course is designed for NARs and CNAs. In this 9-hour course, you’ll learn the basics of delegation, how to administer medication, and how to perform certain healthcare procedures.
