Do I need a car?
Yes, most of our client’s homes are not accessible via public transportation. Also, your client may need transportation for doctors’ appointments or other errands. We reimburse for mileage.
Do you offer employee benefits?
Yes. Benefits include referral bonuses, holiday pay, working bonus, and recognition programs.
What is the pay scale?
Our pay is very competitive. Pay rates for aides range between $12-14 an hour depending on the level of care you provide. A bath visit is compensated at $30. We also have live-in cases that range in pay from $150-$200 a day. LPN and RN rates are determined by the type of care provided.
If I don’t have my professional license yet can I work for you?
Washington State law requires that you have your CNA or NAR license before you can work for a home health care agency. NARs must have at least two years’ experience to work for Health People. NACs must have at least one year experience. If you are in CNA school, you can work for us with an NAR license. We require LPNs and RNs to have prior work experience.
Is an RN on duty at all times?
Yes, we have an RN available 24x7 if you need anything during your shift.
Can I work for you as a nursing assistant if I am a licensed medical assistant?
No, you must have an NAR, CNA, LPN, or RN license.
Do you offer both part-time and full-time positions?
Yes, we will match you with a case based on your availability and the client’s needs. Our shifts include 1-2 hour visits, hourly shifts that range from 4-12 hours, and live-in cases.
