What makes Health People different?

  • Locally owned – We are licensed to provide skilled in-home health care to clients in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties. Learn more about our history.
  • Quick response time – Is your parent returning home after surgery or in need of immediate assistance? Call us 24×7. We can have a caregiver in place right away, for as long as needed. Your call will be answered by one of our office staff (not an answering service), plus, we have an RN on call at all times.
  • Stringent 9-step hiring process – Only 10 of the caregivers who apply to Health People are accepted. Why? Because we strive to match only the most skilled, caring, and committed caregivers with our clients. Learn more about our unique, in-depth hiring process.
  • Caregivers are bonded and insured – All of our bonded and insured caregivers are licensed in the state of Washington (CNAs, NARs, LPNs, and RNs). They also undergo thorough background checks before joining our staff. Plus, we ensure caregivers have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
  • Texting to stay in touch – Our office staff members are happy to text, call, or email you with daily or weekly reports on your parents’ condition. This helps you “keep the fingers on the pulse” of your parents’ care.
  • No long-term commitment – You won’t be tied to a long-term contract. We simply ask our clients to give us a 24-hour notice, so we can reassign our caregivers. (Learn more.)
  • Flexible care plans to meet increasing needs – As your parents’ health care needs change, we can adjust our care plan to meet those needs. This means your parents keep their relationship with the same caregivers, and you don’t have to search for another agency.
  • Commitment to our community – We’re committed to ongoing education to provide the best care possible. To that end, we provide free and low-cost first-aid and caregiving classes for the public and caregivers.
